Live Benefit Concert Motion Graphic Ad
The goal of this project was to make a motion graphics video add for the Live Benefit Concert. This project was especially challenging to me, as I was not familiar with the design software or working with music/audio files.

To give this project my best shot, I studied tutorials through lynda.com and youtube.com, as well as read books from class and external sources.

To better understand how visual motion and sound work together I studied visual arts, such as marching bands, color guards, and dance videos.

The final cut video is made to attract people of all types of music tastes. The event hosts local artists from all genres in hopes to unite all people to help fight the fight against ivory poaching. This event, on May 4th, takes place at the 1234 Music Festival grounds in Jacksonville. It includes color stages, where powdered color will be released to enhance the crowd experience. I feel this video includes all the elements needed to express this event and what it has to offer.

After the first revision, I made changes to the cut as expressed in order to align more with the event and the video audio. The audio chosen for the event is more techno however, this was chosen because no one audio track can truly encompass the entirety of all genres. Thus, I chose a genre that was in the majority of the age range of individuals who would attend an outdoor festival of this size and magnitude, as there are 3 outdoor stages running from 8 a.m. to 12 a.m.
